WoW Classic: Prepare For Phase 6

Blizzard has yet to announce when phase 6 will release for WoW Classic, but we estimate having it in December. Phase 6 will be the last and one of the most anticipated phases to come because most legacy players were unable to experience much of Phase 6 or the legendary Naxxramas raid. Naxxramas, the giant floating necropolis in the Eastern Plaguelands, was released at the end of Vanilla WoW’s lifecycle, not long before The Burning Crusade’s release. This meant that many players weren’t able to experience it the first time.

To enter Naxxramas, you must be at least Honored with the Argent Dawn. When you get to the Honorable, you can talk to Archmage Angela Dosantos at the Chapel of Hope of Light in Eastern Plaguelands to give you a quick quest. This quest works more as a price barrier or tax to access Naxxramas than as a stamina or skill check like other attunement quests. But how much material and gold will cost you depends on your position with the Argent Dawn.

– In Honored, you must pay 60 gold, 5 arcane crystals, 2 Nexus crystals, and 1 straight orb.

– In Revered, you must pay 30 Gold, 2 Arcane Crystals, and 1 Nexus Crystal.

-At Exalted, it’s free.

Our advice is that you start fighting for your exalted reputation now.

Plague Invasion Event is an event that is added to the game just before the opening of Naxxramas and essentially involves various regions of Azeroth under attack from Scourge forces. You can join the fight by talking to an Argent Dawn NPC, and it’s worth doing because you gain a reputation with Argent Dawn. Beyond that, there is not much preparation for this event.

Phase 6 introduces a large amount of frost-resistant gear in the game. This equipment comes from Master Craftsman Omarion, an elite level 60 human NPC found in the Death Knight Wing of Naxxramas. Every item offered by Omarion requires Essence of Water to craft it, so you can expect them to go up in price. It’s a good idea to start stocking up on Essence of Water now, either by growing it yourself, buying it.

Consumables will still be a huge thing in Phase 6, but what consumables should you start amassing now? These are the most important consumables for Naxxramas:

– Increased Shadow Protection Potion (you will need at least 2 of these per fight).

– Beater Root Tuber: Healing Consumable

– Potion of protection against superior nature.

– Elixir of Poison Resistance.

– Superior Fire Protection Potion.

-Superior frost protection potion.
